After reviewingnearly 12.000 records of herbal plants Valley dry forests and explored the key areas, the current membershipconsists of approximately 1.300 species of vascular plants, of which 255 correspond to trees. Epiphytes and treesare the groups most affected by deforestation, and on which it is possible to better understand how they haveimpacted natural ecosystems in Valle del Cauca, is also on them that can more effectively focus conservationactions that generate a positive impact. It also presents a list of 936 plant species of the dry forests, the largestso far presented, and which contains information on habits, distribution, abundance, threats, habitat and type ofdispersion.
