During its life cycle mosquitoes are exposed to a variety of microorganisms and many of them live in the mosquito midgut, sharing this way the same environment with the ingested pathogens. It has been found that this place is the confluence of many of the reciprocal interactions between the mosquito, bacteria and pathogens to the point of influencing their VC. Aedes aegypti primary vector and Aedes albopictus secondary vector are responsible of dengue, one of the arbovirus greatest impact on public health worldwide. %K Virus %K Enfermedades infecciosas %K Bacterias %K Microorganismos %K Enfermedades bacterianas %K Trabajos de grado %K Química Farmacéutica %K Departamento de Ciencias Químicas %K Facultad de Ciencias Naturales %K Producción intelectual registrada - Universidad Icesi %K Bacterial composition %K Vector competence %K Antibiotic %~ GOEDOC, SUB GOETTINGEN
