TY - THES TI - Diseño de un proceso para medir el impacto de la capacitación PB - Universidad Icesi PY - 2011 UR - http://hdl.handle.net/10906/76213 AB - Increasingly, organizational stakeholders want to measure how training expenditures contribute to the bottom line. The return on investment (ROI) compares training benefits to training costs. A training process is proposed. The PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) has been used as the framework for this process, because it provides a systematic and consistent methodology to implement the training plan; and, within the Check step allows to measure its financial impact which is the main objective of this project. The main steps in determining the benefits of a training program are collecting data, isolating its effects to separate out the training’s impacts from other influences in the organization, converting data to monetary value, total training costs, and then ROI calculation.
