The purpose of the research has several elements. First, the proposal provides for the appropriation of the ideas of learning at the organizational level, mainly interorganizational knowledge essential for dynamic business and organizational development. Second, the information collected on the subject of research reinforces the idea of the potential absorptive capacity has on learning to generate new forms of organization. And third, the work as a whole can be taken as a framework on the use of research-based approach to interorganizational learning the various types of existing organizations. In the developing of the proposal two crucial moments can be identified to understand the topic in question. The first one initially focused on the construction of a framework of ideas based on existing approaches in the field of inter-organizational learning, knowledge transfer and its relationship to the idea of learning organization. A second phase focused on enriching the framework of ideas incorporating approaches to relations established between universities and businesses as organizations regarding absorptive capacity in learning and knowledge generation.
