Initially, establish relationships within their speech community, then assimilate the rules of their language community. Finally, learning is consolidated with access to the school system, from the approach to the forms of language in early childhood education, building up its future as a reader and producer of texts and discourses. Throughout this online learning is orality as cross member to all other linguistic resources. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of animation practices in oral reading performance as measured through the understanding of narrative texts, children 3 years of age, to which three types of care for early childhood in Tuluá city - Colombia. The re-narration of 36 children, linked to the comprehensive care programs for early childhood “institutional and familiar” - the Strategy “De Cero a Siempre”, and no comprehensive private garden were evaluated. To determine the level of understanding of the narrative text, a linguistic corpus which was studied through the use of discourse analysis techniques and content was created.
