dc.description.abstractThis study consists of the description of an intercultural exchange project called telecollaboration that aimed at providing students with opportunities of developing communicative competence using ICTs in two different contexts in the countries of USA and Colombia. Primarily, the description of the conditions for effective implementation of ICTs as the project itself and its methodological procedures are presented, and then the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the methodological procedures too. In general, the results indicate that the experience was very satisfactory and that the pedagogical procedures for telecollaboration allowed clarity and evidence of intercultural awareness and orality in both audiences participating in the activity of telecollaboration.-
