Resumen
Lignocellulolytic residues have become a major problem over the last decades, which has caused researchers to turn their attention to fungi, since these microorganisms represent a great unexplored cellulite potential. Despite this, there is still a long way to go for the characterization of all fungal species, and that is why Phlebia sp and Trichoderma lentiforme, endophytic native species of fungi, and Xylaria sp, native macrofungus, were analyzed and compared to a reference strain, Trichoderma reesei. Results showed that Phlebia sp, Xylaria sp and T. lentiforme present a promising future regarding β-glucosidase, xylanase and exoglucanase activity respectively, overpassing the activity reported by T. reesei. Confirming the unexplored potential endophytic native species of fungi have.
