%0 Journal Article %T Plan estratégico para la unidad de transferencia tecnológica UTT de un centro de investigaciones médicas %D 2014 %U http://hdl.handle.net/10906/77040 %X Medical Research Center2 founded in 1961, is a research, technological development and training of human resource in the field of health, non-profit. Its mission is to contribute to development and human well-being through biomedical research for the generation and application of knowledge. Currently, the center has a staff of 56 people, distributed as follows: 6 researchers, scientific support 11 people, 10 people’s professional support and technical support 29 people. The UTT technology transfer unit, located within the city center, is a support unit, newly created, which depends directly on the general direction and aims to support research activities, services and training, generated by the institution seeking alternatives for resource generation and serving as a bridge between the different actors in the system of Science, Technology and Innovation (CTi). With the proposed strategic plan, analyzed internally and externally, the actual situation of the unit in the immediate surroundings, as well as the key components to meet development goals.
