%0 Journal Article %T Implementación de un modelo para el mejoramiento continuo en el área de la coordinación administrativa de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad del Valle: prueba piloto %D 2011 %U http://hdl.handle.net/10906/67351 %X This paper intends to implement a pilot, a model developed by an author in rganizational issues for continuous improvement in the administrative coordination of the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad del Valle. The concern arises from doing 2 years ago, through the reflection of the analysis contained in the Strategic Development Plan, which sets the direction of the university during the period 2005 to 2015. Also following the guidelines of the program of Integrated Quality Management at the University, which showed the need to involve all staff in the processes that are carried out for implementation, realizing that this is not a fad, but is preparing for the future of the Institution. In the model chosen, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey, it takes into account first being, the importance of people, considering that from their well-being is to be given the conditions to interact team can get better results in any process that takes place. The final conclusion after this tour, is the importance of being alert not just when problems but can see opportunities for improvement and potential in every human being who works in the University.
