%0 Journal Article %T Tensión ética, toma de decisión frente a una licitación %D 2011 %U http://hdl.handle.net/10906/67843 %X The case describes an ethical tension based on a real situation of an Infrastructure Manager of a port administration company in which it must make the final decision in a bidding process. The choice was between making the right decision under his personal moral position versus the right decision under the optic of the organizational moral atmosphere. The manager compared the pros and cons of the alternatives that he has at his desk; with this analysis he expected to make the best decision that would benefit the entire organization and that as well would correspond with his criteria and ethical perspective of the issue. The document is written looking to illustrate in a practical way, how ethical and moral tension prejudice administrative elements of strategic management within the organization, emphasizing the effects of decisions in areas such as leadership, planning, forecasting and corporate finances. For the development of this paper and its analysis some elements such as theories and concepts where used from different experts in Business Ethics, Strategic Management and Corporate Social Responsibility, among others subjects.
