Thanks to the information, millions of people have easy and immediate access to a vast and diverse amount of online information. It is important to note that with the advent of the Internet has opened a digital divide, creating a change in the behavior of people and even in their consumption habits. However, in the course of time has been spreading Internet access in almost everyone In this paper the students analyze the factors that influence the online purchase process of Cali university students enrolled in day shift. The study was conducted from a survey designed to obtain information about consumer habits for students. Among the main findings of the study, only a third of the total respondents purchase online products or services, the reasons are mainly because they find lower prices and they find internet purchases fast and effective. The most influential element in the purchase process is variety.
