This paper identifies representative times when popular culture clearly communicates a social recognition toward due process as institution. We refer especially to two literary, classic and legendary figures, such as “Robin Hood”, and “The Trial”, by Franz Kafka; additionally, we explain how the present system of law also shows priority references about that institution.
