%X Worldwide economy globalization, the intention of the national government expanding their borders for international markets, some economic crisis from developed markets and the recuperation plan for emerging countries, have placed Colombia in a converging point for multiple commercial treaties. This dynamic has summoned numerous and tempting offers from every good, reducing local participation. One of these affected markets is paper industry.
Particularly, commodities paper has been strongly influenced in their strategic flow lines, making them lose market participation, sales drops and less profit.
If local producers from this or any other industry want to remain as a main character, it’s necessary for them to make a deep, detailed analysis of their vision and future of their direct and indirect environment. The analysis will establish possible long-term scenarios and the identification of opportunities and threats and will also give the chance to design new strategies that anticipates possible background changes, preventing an unprepared reaction to them.
