AB  - This paper studies the financial feasibility of the participation in the bidding for the
design, operation and exploitation of the collection system besides the supply of
the management system and the operation control of the integrated mass transit
system of an important Colombian city. The project evaluation is done through free
cash flows and net cash flows discounted analyzing the capital structure and cost
of capital appropriate for the project, it also analyses the strategic reasons to
address this type of business. The paper concludes with a sensitivity analysis
which states the result of the financial assessment and recommendations for
similar future projects.
