AB  - This research is part of the field of "management innovation" which refers to the implementation of management technologies to increase value creation in organizations. This research allows: i) establish the baseline of management technologies in Colombia, ii) compare the degree of convergence of the country, frontier technologies worldwide and, iii) estimate the level of sophistication of the management system companies.
The findings may be useful to: i) companies, to know their current status and optimize the application of technologies, ii) the universities, to reconsider the content of some higher education programs in management, adjust the structure or pedagogical approach and iii) public institutions for the formulation of public policy related to innovation.
