AB  - The topic covered by this project is very
important for university ICESI as this
enables the occurrence of laboratory
practices faculties of natural sciences
and health sciences, focusing on their
equipment as life support, which we
willing for their continuous and proper
functioning.
When applied, this project counted with
primary sources of information of the studied system. It was conducted from
the observation of all support equipment
and maintenance activities, including
interviews with the ones responsible for
the process.
Information that supports the issue,
which focuses on the lack of planning
and programming in the area of
maintenance of laboratory equipment,
specifically in the activities of preventive
maintenance, corrective maintenance,
purchase and installation of equipment.
Adequate provision for service in the
development of laboratory practice
should be analyzed in detail the process
for tracking the status, requirements,
possible failures, among others, which
may be present in the existing devices
in the building L of Icesi University.
That’s why the work is based on
standardization.
