TY - THES TI - Estandarización de un método para valorar el contenido de ácido trans aconítico en jugos de caña de azúcar PB - Universidad Icesi PY - 2013 UR - http://hdl.handle.net/10906/77520 AB - Today the sugar agricultural sector has a high impact on the Colombian economy, influencing positively and directly in the gross domestic product (GDP). During the manufacture of sugar waste is generate such as leaves, bagasse and molasses. However, there are many other components present in the matrix or cane juice which are discarded because they become interference during the extraction and purification process. Among these components are the organic acids, such as glycolic acid, malic acid, citric acid and aconitic acid (AA), the latter being located in the highest concentration. Organic acids have been used in cosmetic and dermatological formulations for chemical peeling effect in acting as exfoliants and therefore increasing the permeability of the skin for that reason the AA may be used in this industry.
