This research was an exploratory and descriptive study where qualitative and quantitative instruments helped to give students the voice they needed to participate in their learning process of the English class. The findings provided teachers and school with excellent tools and ideas to be implemented in the updating of the English area plan, and allowed eleventh graders to participate actively leaving a legacy for future generations. It also demonstrated that recognizing the attitudes towards the English, the beliefs about the foreign language, and the real and contextualized needs of the students with English, is very relevant for teachers to make the English language learning more interesting, attractive, and meaningful to students.
