However, the complex and dynamic nature ofthe conceptmakes itsmeasurement a topic for discussion. This article provides a review ofthe literature on SRC, comprehensively guided by the question of measurement. The methodology used from the review of the seminal articles to gradually limit the search to articles in high impact journals. We identified different stages in the measurement models, and highlight current debates on the role of corporate social responsibility, and the impact of socio-economic and cultural concepts on consumption.
