Abstract
Colombia is in a migration from analog television to digital television, a fact implies do a authors review, which demonstrate the processes of creating applications for this medium, which interaction plays a important role. This is why it is vital for future developers and builders for digital television applications, understanding the different types of content that can be performed, their characteristics and particularly, the aspects and the design guidelines to consider in the development of this applications, know what could be the role of digital TV in learning contexts and how this medium represents a new option for communication and learning processes. The article shows a compilation of different positions related to creating content for digital television: methodologies for this purpose, interaction and design guidelines, and proposals for the usability evaluation for educational and interactive content for digital television.
