In this article the grades of flexibility and malleability are described in the design objects you present in the accesses and the plazas of three business centers of the city of Cali (Unicentro Cali, Cosmocentro and Supercentro Calima), the study was developed starting from three aspects: first, the bibliographical revision as conceptual mark; second, an ethnographical work to expose it as a scenario in which the public thing becomes a place of the ephemeral thing and, third, to determine the business center like flexible space showing with it in what measure it is evident the presence of developments preconceived in terms of the design, as well as of an economic rationality in the character of the design objects as social mediators. With the study one can see the importance that has charged the mobility or flexibility of the physical structures and the equipment of the business centers like design variable when responding to some more and more ephemeral consumption requirements.
