| dc.description.abstract | La comunicación efectiva es un aspecto fundamental del aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera (EFL), crucial para fomentar el intercambio global, la conexión y el desarrollo de ciudadanos globalizados. Este proyecto de investigación-acción tuvo como objetivo impactar el aprendizaje del inglés mejorando la pronunciación, la participación, la autoconfianza, la colaboración entre pares y las habilidades emocionales de estudiantes de quinto y octavo grado en dos escuelas públicas de Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, a través de la implementación del enfoque de Enseñanza de Idiomas Basada en Tareas (TBLT). La metodología implicó una investigación-acción cíclica en cada aula, donde los docentes implementaron estrategias TBLT para crear entornos de aprendizaje motivadores y creativos y tareas de comunicación del mundo real dentro de un ciclo estructurado de pre-tarea, tarea y post-tarea para fomentar la participación activa y el aprendizaje colaborativo. La recopilación de datos incluyó pruebas previas y posteriores para evaluar la pronunciación, junto con observaciones de rúbricas de aula y entrevistas para comprender las percepciones y respuestas emocionales de los estudiantes a las actividades orales. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Effective communication is a fundamental aspect of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, crucial for fostering global interchange, connection and developing globalized citizens. This action research project aimed to impact English learning enhancing the pronunciation, participation, self confidence, peer collaboration and emotional skills of fifth and eighth - grade students in two public schools in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, through the implementation of the Task - Based Language Teaching (TBLT) approach. The methodology involved cyclical action research in each classroom, with teachers implementing TBLT strategies to create motivating and creative learning environments and real - world communication tasks within a structured pre - task, task, and post - task cycle to foster active engagement and collaborative learning. Data collection included pre - and post - tests to evaluate pronunciation, alongside classroom rubric observations and interviews to understand students' perceptions and emotional response s to oral activities. | eng |
