Resumen
Relations between Japan and Latin America in general receive Little attention from domestic or international observers. Japanese overtures have been cautious due to the importance attached to Japan´s strategic alliance with the United States. On both sides of the Pacific Ocean, however, key actors agree that the world is living through times of dramatic change that will eventually define the future world order.
