Marketing literature suggest that this type of activity could improve corporate image, increase sales, being a strong competitive advantage for companies. From this point of view, this research is done in order to understand the perceptions of students from the ICESI University on CSR activities and their true benefits. For this purpose, we collected data from 200 ICESI University students of third semester on. Results indicate that people believe that companies use CSR to improve their business image in search of financial benefits. After discussion, conclusions arise and suggest new researches.
