Ítem Valoración de sistemas ubicuos basados en e-Campus y Near Field Communication en un ambiente universitario(Universidad Icesi, 2013-10-01) Lame López, Héctor Fabio; Solarte Sarasty, Mario Fernando; Ramírez Gonzalez, Gustavo Adolfo; Salazar Avirama, Manuel Fernando; Burbano Fernández, Marlon Felipe; Córdoba Paladinez, Catalina Ibeth; Herrera, OrielThe natural tendency of society to meet its daily needs, has led to adopt new forms of interaction supported by ubiquitous computing technologies that provide a new dimension of connectivity. Among the new concepts that are related to these technologies is the IoT-Internet of Things and with him, the University of Things as an alternative for scenarios within higher education that enable interaction between people and common objects. According with this concept –and based on Conceptual Framework of learning Internet of things, criteria– e-campus activities in several scenarios was designed and conducted, in order to assessment applicability and pertinence of Near Field Communication technologies. After a rigorous statistical analysis of the experimental results it was concluded that the activities promote a satisfactory interaction space for participants, improving usability perception of intelligent environments belonging to the IoT.Ítem Solución ubicua basada en NFC para el análisis de datos turísticos en un ambiente de ciudades inteligentes(Universidad Icesi, 2015-01-01) Ramírez Gonzalez, Gustavo Adolfo; Chantre, Angela; Martínez Acosta, Luis Carlos; Concha Agredo, Eliana AndreaDetailed recording and analysis of visitor paths and individual mouse movements in real time of tens-of-thousands of visitors is one of the most important areas of tourism research, and to observe tourist movements a variety of techniques are available. New tracking techniques are explored and due to the advance of technology we can have information at any time and from anywhere (pervasive computing). This has been used to record movement information of tourists with high resolution. In these environments (tags environments) where the user interacts with the environment, an emerging technology called NFC (Near Field Communication) is providing a natural means of interaction between the users and their environment.
