Ítem Entre marimba de chonta y el ii-V-I(Universidad Icesi, 2023-12-21) Rosero Ramírez, Harold; Anchico Solís, María ElenaThe following project is intended to document the creation of three compositions that combines Jazz with Aguabajo and Bunde from the Pacific. For the elaboration of the composition various tasks were carried out: extensive listening of songs of this music genre, data collection taken from other investigations that were useful as a starting point. Finally, the analysis of melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic resources that could be used. Thereafter a creative proposal was made that managed to gather elements each music genre in three songs that demonstrates de fusion of this music and with a modern sound but respecting the tradition of the Pacific. The outcome is presented in audio.
