    In Cali, as well as in Colombia and in the world cardiovascular diseases are located within the three leading causes of morbidity and mortality, being for Colombia incidence of 273 per 100,000 population and the mortality rate from ischemic heart disease 64.59 and 76 deaths per 100,000 people in Colombia and Cali respectively. The health area of the Family Compensation Fund of Valle del Cauca ( COMFANDI ) , is notable for its integrated model of care , which, through proper risk identification and intervention , promotes healthy lifestyles for continuous improvement quality of life of the vallecaucana population affiliated to the EPS SOS . To implement this model , has a network of low complexity primary IPS , IPS that rely on medium and high complexity , Clinic Helping the IPS being more complex and referral center for other IPS .
