    This work tries to demonstrate the current failings that are had in the service of health in Palmira and in the financial results as the public hospitals and to evaluate the possible solutions from the operative and financial point of view to generate a more efficient public financial and operative institution. Using the financial information and of production of the hospitals, one thought that both hospitals have an inadequate opportunity in the service, they do not realize the administrative processes adequately, have operational losses and have not managed to construct a competitive advantage that leads them to being supported in a mediate future, high administrative loads that make them inefficient and using the methodology of internal analysis, analysis with base in five forces of Porter and the method of hardiness, I achieve to demonstrate that of the possible strategies that the municipal administration uses to improve the productivity of the institutions, the most viable it is the merger, since this one was generating economies on a large scale, to optimize the plant of charges to the royal needs of the organization, the model of provision of services reorders, to shape integrated networks of services that will make the service more efficient from the financial point of view and to improve the process of attention in health.

    Estudio de viabilidad para la creación de una empresa dedicada a prestar servicios integrales de cubrimiento de eventos sociales en Cali Colombia

    RESUMEN: La simulación de la viabilidad del proyecto "CASA TUA" fue realizada con la ayuda del programa de simulación "Crystal Ball" que sigue el modelo Monte Carlo para simulación aleatoria de proyectos de inversión. Este programa fue utilizado de manera respetuosa de los derechos de autor de la empresa "ORACLE" y bajo su autorización vía una licencia de prueba de 15 días. Los datos de entrada (inputs) de la simulación provienen del trabajo estadístico, seguido de la recolección de datos de empresas del ramo, llevada a cabo por los autores. Por otro lado, los datos estimados del IPC, fueron producto de las estimaciones del Banco de la Republica de Colombia y las apreciaciones del clima económico actual y a cinco (5) años de los autores. Los datos de salida (outputs) de este estudio, son producto del procesamiento de formulas aceptadas por las ciencias financieras y que los autores consideraron más relevantes para la clara presentación de este proyecto.
