    One of the less-valued crops in Colombia is the coconut, this is due to its location and its proximity to areas of conflict. In addition, applied the tools acquired during the master's degree to evaluate the possibility of execution of the project supported in the financial aspects and in case they are not, will raise the tools to be able to achieve optimum conditions and build the plant in CA.

    Ames, es una empresa privada, constituida en el año de 1999 como sociedad de responsabilidad limitada, cuyo objeto social en sus inicios fue la prestación de servicios de transporte de pacientes en ambulancia básica y medicalizada, en el Departamento del Valle del Cauca, con sede en la Ciudad de Cali.Posteriormente en el año 2001, se amplió la cobertura al Departamento del Cauca con sede en la Ciudad de Popayán, y en el año 2005 se inició la operación en el Eje Cafetero con sede en la Ciudad de Manizales. Actualmente cuenta con cinco unidades móviles, tres de las cuáles son de alta complejidad.En el año 2002, Ames Ltda.., identificó una oportunidad de negocios en el suministro de alimentos hospitalarios, para lo cuál implementó una planta de producción la cuál genera actualmente 800 dietas diarias en la Ciudad de Cali, para atender los pacientes hospitalizados de cuatro clínicas de mediana y alta complejidad. Paralelamente en el año 2003, se implementó la planta de lavado de ropa hospitalaria que actualmente procesa 700 kilos diarios de ropa. La Empresa tiene una creciente demanda de sus servicios y necesita ampliar su capacidad de producción para lo cuál estudia el proyecto de expansión en una nueva planta
