Ítem The Conflict of the Indicators: A Case Study on the Implementation of the Victims' and Land Restitution Law in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia(Brill Academic, 2015-01-01) Buchely Ibarra, Lina FernandaThis text presents a critique of the version of the Colombian conflict constructed by Law 1448 of 2011 and the indicators designed to evaluate its implementation. The principal argument is that the text of the law and the indicators used have produced, consolidated and normalized an exclusionary vision of the armed conflict and created an exotic idea of the conflict, centred on the rural and the distant, ignoring its nearby, everyday nature. This exotic concept of the conflict is linked to the way in which the model of transitional justice has been constructed and globalized. The text is based on a case study carried out in Cali, the capital of the Department of Valle del Cauca, and currently the most violent urban centre in the country. Las medidas de reparación integral a favor de las mujeres deben reconocer que las violencias producto del conflicto superan el episodio mismo y agudizan las brechas de inequidad y goce efectivo de derechos entre hombres y mujeres. Compromisos para la paz, en números(Universidad Icesi, 2015-01-01) Sarmiento Erazo, Juan PabloThis paper shows the relationship that has arisen between public spending to sustain the internal armed conflict in Colombia, and state spending for demobilization, victims of armed conflict and the restoration of land in the Santos government, which would have the one of its main flags, consolidation of reintegration and ending the conflict. Thus, it is argued that many of the standards that have been issued in the midst of the internal armed conflict may be frustrated by the resources actually allocated to meet these obligations, and is thus compared with expenditures for maintenance military operations in the area in the past four years.
