This conceptual framework (culture myth) shows up a trascendental vision, beeing the systewms an emergent way or the totality tremor. As a proximity to the General Systems as a production of Systems Theory, as a Systems Science at humanity service, and as a Systems Design with a sustainable future; trough a uniÞ ed transdisciplinary theory (formal aspect) with two transdisciplinary cultural Þ elds: a) Wholeness interconection science, and b) Ecology and the environment.Ítem Programación básica para adolescentes(Universidad Icesi, 2007-08-01) Paz Loboguerrero, Gustavo Adolfo; Londoño Acosta, GuillermoAdolescents don t show interest in the computer programming, they consider it difÞ cult and boring. This paper explores the idea to teach the new generations of adolescents to program in a way that attracts them, that is both easy and amusing. This paper shows the experience at the Icesi University with high school students to teach basic programming by developing video games, with tool easy to use.Ítem Planificación de una red DVB-H en entorno urbano(Universidad Icesi, 2007-08-01) Gómez Barquero, David; García Ariza, Alexis Paolo; Cardona Marcet, Narcís; Monserra, José F.; Salieto, ArianaThis article analyzes the problem of DVB-H based mobile TV network planning, and specifically, the deployment cost minimization issue. The article presents the planning studies for a DVB-H network in the city of Valencia (Spain). A TV broadcasting tower and the base stations of a 3G cellular phone service provider were considered as the broadcasting sites. The network under studyinvolves synchronized transmitters at all the broadcast sites. In order to Þ nd network conÞ gurations yielding maximum coverage and minimum costs, a genetic multiobjective based algorithm was used. The obtained results show a high density of transmitters is needed in order to achieve satisfactory coverage levels in indoor environments, hence, the reusage of telecommunications infrastructure is a key factor in reducing the network deployment costs.Ítem GenLeNa: Sistema para la construcción de Aplicaciones de Generación de Lenguaje Natural(Universidad Icesi, 2007-08-01) Linares, Diego Luis; Jordán O., Rafael Armando; Chala T., Gloria JohannaIn this article the proposal is made for the division of the process of construction of natural language generation (NLG) systems into two stages: content planning (CP), which is dependent on the mastery of the application to be developed, and document structuring (DS). This division allows people who are not expert in NLG to develop natural language generation systems, concentrating on building abstract representations of the information to be communicated (called messages). SpeciÞ c architecture for the DS stage is also presented. This enables NLG researchers to work ortogonally on speciÞ c techniques and methodologies for the conversion of messages into text which is grammatically and syntactically correctÍtem Incorporación de la habilidad de coordinación y del módulo de personalización de sesiones al simulador de otorrinolaringología Wesst-OT(Universidad Icesi, 2007-08-01) Ramírez, Oscar Darío; Ospina C., Angélica María; Hurtado, Lina María; Herrera Botero, Francisco Julián; Castrillón S., Mauricio; Vélez Beltrán, Jorge Alberto; Navarro Newball, Andrés AdolfoThis paper describes the process of incorporating a virtual environment for the practice of the coordination skill to the Web Environment for Surgical Skills in Training in Otolaryngology, WESST - OT. Additionally, a complementary module which allows session customization and the inclusion of anomalies and pathologies in the paranasal region is presented.Ítem Análisis de interferencia entre las tecnologías inalámbricas Bluetooth e IEEE 802.11g(Universidad Icesi, 2007-08-01) Fuertes, Miguel; Guerrero, Fabio; Cardona, OliverIn this article an analysis of interference both in time and frequency between the wireless technologies Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and IEEE 802.11g operating in the ISM band is presented. Also the interference between piconets Bluetooth while operating in the same range of coverage is analyzed. The most relevant aspects of the analysis, oriented to typical situations found in practice, are presented.
