The collaborative economy has redefined how people access and share goods and services through digital platforms. This study analyzes the role of trust in the success of these platforms in Cali, evaluating factors such as trust in the provider, the platform, and the product. It also examines the challenges and opportunities presented by the Cali socio-economic and cultural context, including regulatory and technological aspects, for the sustainable development of the collaborative economy in Colombia. The findings show that trust in the product and the platform are the most influential factors in users' intention to participate, while drivers value trust in the platform above all.eng
