Reconocimiento normativo y diferencias entre el asilo diplomático, asilo territorial y refugio en la opinión consultiva OC-25/18 de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos

This comment focuses its study on Advisory Opinion OC-25/18 of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. In it, the Court distinguishes between three types of figures included in the institution of asylum: diplomatic asylum, territorial asylum and refuge. Said figures, in the opinion of the Court, present particular characteristics, not all of which are covered by the Convention, in regard to the right to seek and receive refuge, which does not occur with respect to the principle of non-refoulement.
