Mejorando los servicios farmacéuticos hospitalarios: la estrategia para la implementación de las buenas prácticas de elaboración por parte de los procesos del servicio farmacéutico de la Fundación Valle del Lili

This assignment provides a strategy that guides to the implementation of the Pharmacy Service Model Management in hospitals located in Cali, Colombia. Within this city's hospitals is included the “Fundación Valle del Lili” that incorporates the best practices for the implementation of this management model. The strategy facilitates the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at the Pharmaceutical Services because it allows the ability to apply in an integral way the GMP verification tool. This appliance was built on the basis of Resolution 0444 of 2008 and it was presented in the thesis work of Leyes D. and V. Lopez (2010), "Diagnosis of the level of compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices by the Pharmaceutical Service in Fundación Valle del Lili”. Secondly, this strategy allows to define and implement the actions established from the diagnosis results. The result obtained by applying the strategy in mention was the implementation of a quality system that led to the Pharmaceutical Service of Fundación Valle del Lili certification in Good Processing Practices, awarded by the National Institute of Food and Drug Surveillance (INVIMA). This certification demonstrates the effectiveness of the tool and the procedure used to make it known in all the areas involved about the institutional importance of compliance with the Decree 2200 of 2005 and the Resolutions 1403 of 2007 and 0444 of 2008 of the Ministry of Social Protection.
