Abstract
The productive unit of this study is a business dedicated to distribute eggs, which buys the product to poultry farms located in Valle del Cauca, and the product is resold in Popayan City, Department of Cauca. The selling average is 396.000 eggs a month, and it is equivalent to 8% of the total market share. The objective of the business plan is to make a vertical integration backwards, so a poultry farm can be built and the bought product can be replaced by eggs which are produced in the farm. To make incursion into a production business implies to have the know-how, and that’s why the required and professional human team who knows about the sector already exists. The required financial sources are about $352 millions, to produced and substitute the current selling volume which is bought to other enterprises of the supply chain. These sources will be obtained directly from the owners and the option of credits with financial entities is not considered based on established policies.
