Abstract

The objective of this project is to make a strategic planning proposal for Distribuidora Medellin, a family company with more than 30 years in the market. To do it, an external analysis was made, which concludes with a list of opportunities and threats, which was followed by a competitor analysis. With this information was built the Profile Competitive Matrix (PCM), which helped to analyze the company with his competitors. An internal analysis was performed, which concluded with a list of strengths and weaknesses. Concluding with the construction of the SWOT matrix and the strategies associated with it, which will be a tool for the strategic planning proposal for the company.

Description

El objetivo de este proyecto es realizar una propuesta de planeación estratégica que pueda ser aplicada a Distribuidora Medellín, empresa familiar con más de 30 años de experiencia. Para lograrlo se realizo un análisis externo, con lo que se identificó una lista de oportunidades y amenazas, seguido de un análisis de la competencia. Con la información anterior se construyó la Matriz de Perfil Competitivo (MPC) y con ella se analizó como esta la compañía frente a sus competidores. También se realizó un análisis interno detallado, con lo que se elaboró una lista de fortalezas y debilidades. Concluyendo con la construcción de la matriz DOFA y las estrategias asociadas a ella, las cuales serán una herramienta para realizar la propuesta de planeación estratégica para la compañía.
