Resumen
This paper aims to develop the evaluation of the business plan “Óptima Consultoría”, from the perspective of business management, with a focus on strategic planning, marketing and sells, and finance, using analytical tools for evaluation of investment projects. We conducted market research to obtain information from the business-consulting industry (including interview with experts), in addition to this starting with a survey carried out with SMEs (small and medium enterprises) primary information was obtained in order to assess the project from reliable and truthful sources. With the previously obtained information we proceeded to develop technical, administrative, legal and economic analysis with its respective risk and sensitivity analysis for viewing the chances of success or failure of the project, in addition to serving as a support for decision-making during the development. The result is that “Óptima Consultoría” is a viable project (NPV> 0), which has a growing market and offers a compelling value proposition to the SMEs market.
