Plan estratégico de la Asociación Red Universitaria de Alta Velocidad del Valle del Cauca- RUAV

Abstract

The Asociación Red Universitaria de Alta Velocidad del Valle del Cauca – RUAV is a nonprofit organization that holds 15 institutes from the Education, Health and Research sectors. Due to the actual lack of a directive line in the main activities of this organization, we propose a strategic plan that defines a clear corporate Mission and Vision with specific objectives aiming to improve the synergy between partners and promote development in fields such as Science, Technology and Innovation in Valle del Cauca. Therefore, the RUAV’s strategy must focus on gaining government support and make vital alliances that allow participation in big impact projects for the region. To achieve this, the abilities and great capacities of the RUAV’s staff must be promoted; also taking advantage of the negotiation power to make joint purchases followed by the creation of customer loyalty mechanisms and the search for elements that allows them to be self-sufficient and so guarantying their financial stability. All the previous initiatives must be supported by an excellent communicative strategy, because even though the organization offers great benefits and services for its clients, the lack of brand awareness has been identified as a big weakness between RUAV and them and other different interest sectors.
