Estructuración de un voluntariado [recurso electrónico]

Abstract

En este documento se realizará, mediante un análisis teórico, una investigación basada en los sistemas de voluntariado en Colombia y el mundo, respondiendo a un problema principal mediante investigación primaria y secundaria, además de la utilización de herramientas que nos la facilite. Se han identificado dos problemas fundamentales en la actualidad respecto a estas instituciones, estos radican en la falta de capital monetario, que pueda sostener una organización cuyos fines no corresponden al lucro, y a la retención de los voluntarios pertenecientes a las organizaciones que, al ser en su mayoría estudiantes, por razones de tiempo o de orientación profesional tienen que verse obligados a desertar su labor. Consecuente a esto, la cuestión principal del documento a continuación es identificar como estas organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro pueden aprovechar y maximizar las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, con el fin de obtener recursos económicos, que soporten su institución y labor, y la retención de los voluntarios de estos sistemas. Se ha concluido que si se crea una conciencia social en los jóvenes, y la sociedad colombiana en general, en la que se valore la importancia de las nuevas tecnologías, se permitirá dar un paso adelante en términos de desarrollo y avance, no solo de fundaciones, si no como sociedad. Mediante la eliminación de barreras que impidan la formación en el conocimiento y uso de las tecnologías en las nuevas generaciones (disminución de la brecha digital), se impulsará la participación y uso adecuado de las herramientas disponibles para ellos, quienes se consideran como la fuerza colaboradora en las acciones sociales, y quienes son los más interesados en las tecnologías. Así, las organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro que manejan voluntariados, podrán aprovechar de manera efectiva las ventajas que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías de la información, no solo utilizándolas como herramientas, sino que también con nuevas maneras de realizar una acción social. This document will be developed, through a theoretical analysis, a research based on the volunteering systems in Colombia and the world, responding to the main problem, through a primary and secondary research, and the utilization of tools which provides us this information. Two main problems have been identified nowadays regarding these institutions, these lie on the lack of funds, which can maintain an organization whose purpose is not obtaining profit, and the retention of volunteers from these systems. It has been concluded that if a social awareness is created, in the youth and the Colombian society, that value the importance of new technologies, it will be allowed to take a step forward in terms of development and progress, not just regarding foundations, but the society itself. Through the elimination of barriers that block the development of knowledge and the use of technologies in the upcoming generations, the participation and proper use of tools will be driven and available for them, who are considered as the collaborator force in the community action, and the ones, which are more interested in technologies. Therefore, the non-profit organizations that manage any voluntary activity, will be able to use in a proper way the advantages that the new communication and information technologies offer, not just using them as tools, but finding new ways to realize social action.
