Análisis de la rentabilidad de empresas del sector energético en América Latina

Este trabajo es un estudio sobre los determinantes de la rentabilidad de empresas del sector energético (petróleo, gas y energía) en América Latina. Se realizó mediante la estimación de modelos econométricos que buscaban explicar la relación entre las variables explicativas (indicadores financieros de cada empresa, factores del entorno en el que se desenvuelven y del país donde están establecidas) y la variable dependiente (indicador de desempeño financiero). Así mismo, este trabajo servirá de insumo para investigaciones posteriores sobre el tema.

This article is a study on the determinants of the profitability of companies in the energy sector (oil, gas and energy) in Latin America. It was made by the estimation of econometric models that sought to explain the relationship between the explanatory variables (fi nancial indicators of each company, factors of the environment in which they operate and the country where they are established) and the dependent variable (indicator of financial performance). Also, this work will serve as input for further research on the subject.
