Construyendo territorios, construyendo geografías. Una mirada a la construcción de territorio en el corregimiento de Pance, Cali – Colombia

Abstract

The current study brings about the result of a research carried out with the Pance Community in Santiago de Cali. It is proposed through the article to pierce the complex reality of the Pance Community, along with their history, feelings and experiences to recognize the traits that have given the communities the identity as a functional entity of territory construction. For this, the report lays three fundamental aspects: first, the spatial practices of some leaders of Pance Community. Second, their experiences, dreams and utopias that are sketched in spatial representations. Third, the tonalities of the identities. Finally, a reflection is proposed, as a conclusion for the main tensions and relations among territories and the identity construction and some contemporary geographic considerations for This kind of studie.
