The psychological contract is relevant to understand the behavior and well-being of workers. This investigation analyzes the effect of the violation of the psychological contract upon the employee’s cynicism through a mediation of emotional exhaustion. For this purpose, a quantitative, empirical and crosssectional design research was performed.
