Resumen

Este proyecto propone potenciar a Sofi, el asistente virtual de la Universidad, para revolucionar los servicios bibliotecarios y mejorar la experiencia académica. Sofi implementará funcionalidades avanzadas como búsqueda de información, recomendaciones personalizadas, reserva de recursos y respuesta a preguntas frecuentes, con el objetivo de convertirse en el canal preferido de interacción y soporte bibliotecario. Se espera que esta innovación aumente en un 10% el uso de los recursos bibliotecarios, mejore la satisfacción del usuario, reduzca los tiempos de atención y optimice los procesos internos La implementación de Sofi busca crear un entorno más accesible y eficiente, reforzando el papel fundamental de las bibliotecas en el aprendizaje e investigación universitaria. Esta transformación tecnológica no solo mejorará la gestión de recursos, sino que también contribuirá significativamente a la misión educativa de la institución, convirtiendo a las bibliotecas en herramientas aún más valiosas para la comunidad académica.

Abstract

How can chatbots transform the experience in university libraries and improve efficiency in resource management and user satisfaction? In the digital age, educational institutions must continuously adapt to meet the changing needs of their communities. University libraries, traditionally seen as repositories of knowledge and research centers, are no strangers to this technological transformation, presenting an opportunity to develop new forms of adaptation. This project proposes to empower Sofi, the University's virtual assistant, to revolutionize library services and enhance the academic experience. Sofi will implement advanced features such as information search, personalized recommendations, resource reservations, and answering frequently asked questions, aiming to become the preferred channel for library interaction and support. This innovation is expected to increase library resource usage by 10%, improve user satisfaction, reduce response times, and optimize internal processes. The implementation of Sofi seeks to create a more accessible and efficient environment, reinforcing the fundamental role of libraries in university learning and research. This technological transformation will not only improve resource management but also significantly contribute to the institution's educational mission, making libraries even more valuable tools for the academic community.
