Incide la condición étnica en la inserción laboral : Una mirada desde la perspectiva afrodescendiente

El presente proyecto investigativo tiene el objetivo de examinar la situación que ha tenido que afrontar la comunidad afrocolombiana en su inserción al mercado laboral. Para alcanzar dicho objetivo se realizan entrevistas a individuos afrodescendientes que desde el municipio de Olaya Herrera, Nariño, migran hacia Cali. El principal resultado de la entrevista, y por ende de la investigación, refleja que para la muestra escogida la condición étnica influye de forma negativa a la hora de ser contratado en algún trabajo. Con el hallazgo anterior, sumado a un marco teórico y a un análisis de datos que apoyan la tesis planteada de que la condición étnica influye en la inserción al mercado laboral permiten concluir que si hay barreras étnicas en la entrada al mercado laboral y que eliminarlas debe ser un compromiso de toda la sociedad

This research project aims to examine the situation that the Afro-Colombian community faces in their insertion into the labor market. To achieve this objective were interviewed African descent who from the municipality of Olaya Herrera (Nariño) migrate to Cali. The main result of the interview, and therefore of the investigation, reflects that for the chosen sample the ethnic condition negatively affects the job search. With the previous finding, added to a theoretical framework and an analysis of data -that support the thesis that ethnic condition influences the insertion into the labor market- it is possible to conclude that there are ethnic barriers in the entrance of the labor market and that eliminating them must be a commitment of the whole society.
