Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación, denominado “Promoviendo competencias ciudadanas en convivencia participación y paz en y con los estudiantes de grado octavo de dos instituciones educativas de Cali en 2017”, se llevó a cabo en las instituciones educativas Técnico Industrial Comuna 17 y La Esperanza, ambas de carácter oficial, en el grado octavo, grupos 8-1 y 8-2 respectivamente.
La investigación fue de enfoque cualitativo, basada en la observación y descripción de situaciones o acciones que permitieron interpretar cómo convivían los estudiantes, cuáles eran sus experiencias, qué significados y representaciones tenían de su contexto en el aula.
Abstract
The work: "Promoting Citizen Competences in Coexistence Participation and Peace in
and with the Eighth Grade Students of Two Educational Institutions of Cali in 2017", was carried
out in the Institución Educativa Técnico Industrial Comuna 17 and La Esperanza, both of official
character, in the eighth grade, groups 8-1 and 8-2 respectively.
The research was qualitative, based on the observation and description of situations or
actions that allowed us to interpret how students lived together, which were their experiences
were, what meanings and representations they had of their context in the classroom.
In the first instance, a diagnosis of the perception that students had in relation to citizen
competencies is presented, in their dimensions of coexistence, participation and peace, through
the application of a focus group and the study of institutional documents. Subsequently, the
process of construction of a didactic sequence, with the participation of students, as a
methodology to mediate the learning processes is indicated.
