Evaluación de la cobertura de tamizaje para cáncer de cérvix en la Comuna 16

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo, establecer las causas de la baja cobertura en la realización de la citología vaginal como prueba de tamizaje para la detección temprana de cáncer de cérvix de la Red de Salud del Suroriente ESE. Se realizó el estudio con la población de mujeres entre 25 y 69 años que no se habían realizado la prueba en los últimos tres años (2015-2017) y se evaluaron tanto las causas aducidas por las mujeres, como la implementación y socialización de la norma técnica para la detección temprana del cáncer de cuello uterino en la organización.

The objective of this study was to establish the causes of low coverage in the performance of vaginal cytology as a screening test for the early detection of cervical cancer of the Suroriente Health Network ESE. The study was conducted with the population of women between 25 and 69 years old who had not been tested in the last three years (2015-2017) and evaluated both the causes adduced by women for the non-performance of the examination, and the implementation and socialization of the technical standard for the early detection of cervical cancer in the three Health institutions that the conform
