Estrategias de aprendizaje basadas en la creatividad y el trabajo colaborativo para fortalecer las habilidades sociales en niños de segundo grado

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general establecer una estrategia de aprendizaje basada en la creatividad y el trabajo colaborativo para fortalecer las habilidades sociales en niños de segundo grado. Para ello, se diseñó e implementó la estrategia “Cooperar, crear y aprender juntos”; los datos registrados durante la implementación fueron analizados en términos de efectividad. En el estudio participaron los estudiantes de grado segundo de básica primaria de la sede Gabriel Montaño de la I. E Las Américas. The goal of this paper is to develop a learning strategy based on creativity and cooperative work aimed at strengthening social skills in second graders belonging to Las Americas Elementary school (Gabriel Montaño Branch). A strategy named “cooperate, create and learn together” was designed and implemented to achieve this. The recorded data were analyzed and assessed in terms of their affectivity. The outcomes showed that a creativity and cooperative work-based learning strategy allows fostering social skills due to the fact children get more involved as they feel encouraged towards tasks enhancing their self-esteem. Likewise, problem-solving tasks foster creativity and team work to overcome troublesome situations as children start to establish affective links, reinforce empathy and living values resulting in improved academic performance.
