Análisis de la siniestralidad en la regional suroccidente Coomeva Eps Año 2016

Objective: Analyze the factors that contribute to the Accident Rate of the Southwest Regional of Coomeva EPS in the year 2016 to design strategies for an efficient administrative management in the operation framework of the General System of Social Security in Health. Design: Data bases of income and costs, from users assigned to the Southwest Regional of Coomeva EPS in the year 2016, were analyzed. A logistic regression model, was specified, to estimate the association between the different variables that could affect the cost, such as demographic variables, frequency of use, type of service and type of contract. With this analysis, the variables that affect the Accident Rate were studied. Intervention: The results were analyzed and intervention strategies were proposed through a DOFA matrix for future implementation by the insurer.
