The understanding of therapeutic principles, types and mechanism of action of these drugs is essential for proper use and management of adverse reactions. We discuss the profile of the PCSK-9 inhibitors, the Dabigatran antidote, the abciximab, the digoxin antidote, the therapy in heart transplantation, and a possible cardiovascular use of monoclonal antibodies used in rheumatology.
