    The objective of this study is to analyze the leadership and power processes as emerging phenomena that occur within organizations due to interactions between the people (agents) that belong to the organization. It is assumed that the organization is a dynamic system in continuous changing process that mobilizes the firm by virtue of its dynamic relationships between leaders and employees. As this is a theoretical study, the analysis is supported by a review of the literature. In conclusion it affirms that leadership and power can mobilize the organization and can lead to productive imbalances, which promote organizational development and sustainability.

    The strategy concept in the context of business organizations is one of the topics of great interest in the affairs of management. However, the proposal of new approaches have not significantly contributed to progress in the study of strategy. Stagnation is evident, and for this reason this paper outlines a proposal that brings together some of the challenges for the study of strategy. The paper presents an overview, and sets out possible ways forward to contribute to the organization’s sustainability

    Depredación organizacional : las consecuencias del uso del poder en la organización

    The concept of “predation” in the field of organization is usually associated with the deterioration of its resources. However, when a population ecology approach is used, there is a focus on the relationships between the players of the organization and the interaction of three main variables: the power of the players,the intimacy between them and the lethality oftheir actions. The latter two are requested on loan from the functional classification proposed by the ecology of populations and crucial in the predator-prey relationship. This paper exploits such knowledge in the ecology, and argues that their study provides an understanding of the management styles in the organization.
